Outside Sales Person - Barboursville - WV (Finance)

Position Overview
The Sales Representative reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with current and potential customers, achieving sales goals of our Ready-Mix Concrete and Building Materials business, developing short- and long-term sales strategies and sales plans to increase the OPCO and regional profit margins.
Territory
Cabel, Putnam and Kanawha counties with specific emphasis but not limited to areas from Huntington to Charleston, WV on the I-64 corridor. Additional territory responsibilities to include eastern areas of Kentucky and southeast areas of Ohio.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years). Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings, and engineering production drawings is ideal.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, drive, use fine motor skills and use repetitive motion. The employee must occasionally bend, kneel, squat, climb or balance.
This position can require an employee to lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid condition airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and may require protective equipment.
Working conditions include exposure to noise and working with others.
