  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering Technology, or a related technical field required.
  • Four years of management and/or technical engineering experience in the elevator industry required, including any experience with: the process and design methodologies Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
  • Modernization and new product line installation; executing and managing complex projects; and managing several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Manager- New Product Process Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Responsible for developing, initiating, and implementing standardized best practices of the modernization and new installation of business lines.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Utilize hands-on approach to drive design and supplier quality assurance and deliverables.
  • Support launch activities throughout design release and manufacturing processes along with post development processes.
  • Apply test and qualification processes in the attainment of financial and labor efficiency goals.
  • Serve as highest level of decision making on the new product process function, including managing the training of U.S. workers on proprietary cab design.
  • Draft detailed technical reports to present findings.
  • Recommend modifications needed to correct production problems based on findings.
  • Develop ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process.
  • Ensure business and project requirements are incorporated into the product function specifications.
  • Ensure FMEA and function specifications requirements are fully met during process/design validation.
  • Standardize best practices for strategic management, job site installation, factory-to-field efficiencies, and gain and project management.
  • Coordinate through all levels of management teams to drive these best practices and initiatives.
  • Conduct installation methods. Implement and oversee strategic operation initiatives.
  • Strategically review and implement best practices that drive performance through gained labor efficiency and quality.
  • Lead time studies of product development for procedures of evaluation. Foster a culture of safety and complete compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining all job costs and monthly processes and procedures.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations as required timely and accurately so accounts are always properly stated.
  • Lead operations while developing synergies and fostering relationships between field and factory.
  • Serve as key member and liaison between USFO and factory in driving synergies and strategic opportunities that provide optimum measurable results in quality and labor efficiency through all lines of business.
  • Monitor performance to ensure standardization of goals are met or exceeded.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities, such as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing compliances and resolving problems in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
