CFO Consultant (Remote) (Finance)

BOOST is seeking an experienced CFO Consultant to assist with the evaluation, analysis, and finalization of our corporate 2025 budget. This role is offered as a 1099 consulting engagement, structured on a firm-fixed-price (FFP) basis. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial acumen and strategic insight to provide actionable recommendations that align with BOOSTs growth and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess existing financial plans, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the budget preparation process.
• Collaborate with leadership to align budget priorities with corporate goals and long-term growth strategy.
• Utilize Unanet ERP software to consolidate financial data and generate detailed reports, ensuring the budget reflects accurate and actionable insights.
• Prepare a comprehensive and finalized 2025 corporate budget, accompanied by clear documentation for internal review and approval.
• Provide expert financial guidance to support decision-making and foster a strong fiscal foundation for BOOSTs operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum of 10 years proven CFO experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably with government contracting organizations and/or professional services organizations within the GovCon industry.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate budget preparation, analysis, and optimization.
• Possess a strong understanding of Unanet software, including its budgeting and reporting functionalities.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results as a consultant, consistently meeting objectives on a firm-fixed-price basis.
• Exceptional ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Proven experience thriving in a 1099 consultant role, consistently delivering successful outcomes on a firm-fixed-price (FFP) basis.

Preferred Education and Certifications:

• Masters degree in business administration or finance is preferred.
• CPA
