Communications Manager- County Materials (Finance)
The Communications Manager supports the Marketing Department by driving communication and content strategies that align with our companys strategic initiatives. The Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of both internal and external communication strategies. This role oversees the production of written deliverables created by the Public Relations Team, ensuring all messaging meets our Brand Guidelines for consistent tone and identity. Additionally, this role oversees our County Closet initiatives and provides Project Management for projects that extend beyond Marketing to the Shared Services, Leadership In Development, and Learning and Development Departments. The Communications Manager is responsible for many organizational and creative tasks to standardize and improve the communication efforts of the organization.

Job Duties:
Develops and executes communication and content strategies that support sales, recruitment, and community initiativesLeads the Public Relations and COUNTY Closet Team, onboarding, training, and developing direct reportsProduces engaging, industry-leading communications that support product sales and strategic initiativesHelps develop and refine departmental processesProject Manages projects for Shared Services Alignment, Leadership In Action, and Learning and Development Committees.Collaborates with other marketing service channels, representing the Public Relations TeamCollaborates with other Executives and Management to support cross-departmental initiativesReviews and edits copy, and other marketing materials as assignedInitiates project discovery and market research objectivesDetermines the effectiveness of strategies by collecting and interpreting SEO, website, and social media analytics. Integrate findings into current and future strategies.Oversees the creation of content that engages and grows targeted website and social media audiencesStays current with company and industry newsIdentifies creative ways to repurpose and leverage existing content to drive sales and traffic to the websiteBrainstorms and collaborates concepts and messaging with the Public Relations TeamManages the companys online reputation through Google My Business and social media networksUpdates project management software with resources and publishing datesDevelops and maintains Corporate Brand and Creative GuidelinesEnsures content aligns with company messages, adhering to Brand Guidelines for a consistent tone of voice and identity.Write letters, interdepartmental memos, and other business correspondencePerform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies
Experience and Qualifications:
5 8 years of work experience as a copywriter, communications specialist, social media strategist, or similar roleDemonstrates strong leadership skillsA bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field is preferredA writing portfolio is requiredPossess a creative, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and knowledge of sales, marketing, and social mediaPays close attention to detail and provides attentive customer service while completing several projects simultaneouslyProactive, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
