Business Continuity Specialist (Finance)

What we do:
Part of the Operations and Resiliency Group, the Business Continuity and Resiliency Function strengthens and supports the Bank's resiliency through a holistic approach from planning to response to recovery and mitigation.
This role is part of the Business Continuity Office, which is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Bank's business continuity program. The Business Continuity Office provides guidance for planning, training, exercising, response, and recovery, supporting business areas with preparing for and responding to new and emerging risks. This position will report to the Head of Business Continuity and Resiliency.
Your role as Business Continuity Specialist:
The Business Continuity Specialist supports activities that advance and continuously strengthen the resiliency of the Federal Reserve System. Key responsibilities include:
Work with and provide guidance to business areas on their business continuity plan development, crisis management, and testing strategies.
Maintain, advance, and administer the portfolio of applications and tools used to support business continuity activities.
Support Bankwide contingency exercise and training programs.
During contingency events, support the Bank's response and provide clear information for decision-makers, including transforming complex issues and data into meaningful visualizations.
Stay apprised of industry best practices and share and incorporate into programs where applicable.
Work with System providers to successfully execute business continuity related initiatives.
What we are looking for:
Experience applying the concepts, theories, and practices of business continuity into real-world programs.
Demonstrated experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams in a mission-driven organization.
Ability to distill complex information into actionable documents and briefs.
Experience driving technical improvements to support business area experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experienced project manager, including setting project timelines, monitoring, and producing final deliverables.
Creative thinker with a track-record of resourceful problem-solving.
Experience with data visualization tools a plus.
Salary Range: $110000 - $145000 / year
