Co-op Partners Warehouse Director (Co-op Partners Warehouse) (Information Technology)
Working in conjunction with the CEO and TCCP Leadership Team, and key CPW leaders, develop short and long term CPW strategic plan, ensuring alignment with TCCP strategic priorities, and lead its implementation.
With the leadership team, develop and execute the CPW strategic plan.
Lead, coach, and develop staff to ensure operational objectives are met or exceeded and that sales and distribution targets are executed to CPW standards.
Present to TCCP Board as requested by CEO.
EXECUTION
Responsible for CPW Profit and Loss.
Develop and deliver an annual business plan for strategies, tactics, sales volume, profitability, distribution growth, and operating income.
Manage operating expenses including inventory, product loss, cost of goods/margins, personnel, and transportation.
Evaluate total market conditions, competitive threats, and changing supply chain and pricing dynamics which may impact volume, market share, and profit.
With the CPW leadership team define annual and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) priorities, strategies, and goals for CPW.
Report monthly on KPIs and other established business unit metrics including sales, expenses, and operating profitability, including the development and implementation of correction plans when targets are missed.
Partner with Director of Human Resources to ensure performance management initiatives are met, and support talent acquisition and development needs throughout the year.
BUILDING SUCCESS
Work directly with the CPW business unit team to ensure execution of the CPW Standards of operating excellence.
Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices; act as a major contributor/leader among peer group.
Build a diverse organization that reflects our community.
Lead by example and ensure that CPW staff understand and adhere to TCCP standards and targets.
Adhere to TCCP operating and safety procedures.
Align CPW from the top-down with TCCP Key Ingredients values.
Complete annual performance reviews with all direct reports, building and supporting development Plans.
Serve on the Leadership Team of TCCP, and work closely with the CEO, CFO, HR Director, Marketing Director, and Purchasing Director in setting strategic direction for the organization.
Perform other tasks assigned by CEO.
Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in Warehouse Operations Management, Sales, Procurement/Supply Chain, and logistics. Food service and/or wholesale produce distribution experience is preferred.
A demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding operational, sales and profitability objectives.
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management, preferred.
Certified in warehouse operations management, preferred.
A proven record of being able to inspire and lead a successful sales distribution organization and partnership to promote initiatives that build strong trade partnerships.
Responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) statement for an organization or division of an organization.
Working knowledge of / previous experience managing organizations to DOT compliance, OSHA regulations, and other employment law/regulatory requirements.
Exceptional, and demonstrated, leadership skills providing coaching, mentoring, training and development, performance evaluations, and corrective feedback / discipline to staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including being able to prepare presentation materials and present the information one-on-one and in a group.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources.
Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by an ability to set and handle multiple priorities.
Knowledge of current trends in the natural foods industry.
Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ability to work with TCCP to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed.
