Department: Human Resources Salary: $50,000 Description:
Responsible for the efficient and effective support, implementation, and management of Human Resource-related functions to include but not limited to; instructional design for web-based training programs, design and maintenance of HR website and technology platforms for all training and development initiatives.
1. Assists in the development of online training courses including presentation design, visual effects, and vocal recordings utilizing web-based course development software.
2. Maintains web-based training program for UH System by ensuring training courses and enrollment data is properly loaded, as well as serves as liaison between University IT and training regarding university's web-based training system.
3. Administers all duties associated with annual Mandatory Training program for the UH System.
4. Troubleshoots technical and operational issues of technology-based programs.
5. Provides consultation and support for UH staff regarding online training.
6. Researches, proposes and participates in decision making for the purchase of new software and technology.
7. Publishes training courses in university's web-based training system.
8. Develops, runs and analyzes query data using the organizations HRIS and ERP systems, to identify relative metrics regarding online training.
9. Collaborates with Sr. Talent Development Specialist to create classroom-based training programs as needed.
10. Develops and maintains web-based collaborative platforms to include the department website and SharePoint site in accordance with the University marketing and visual identity guidelines and standards.
11. Assists with the design and creation of department marketing materials and presentations for HR initiatives.
12. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline, or the basic knowledge of more than one professional disciplines. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related, 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of three (3) year of directly job-related experience.
