Summary: The primary responsibility of the Sr. Accounting Coordinator is to review invoicing, maintain invoicing reports, data entry, obtain receiving approvals, maintain/document receiving approvals and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviewing invoicing received from suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality and price.
Ensure that items are received in on time.
Maintain Open Invoice Report.
Calling/Emailing vendors for statuses.
Follow up on all past due approvals.
Assist in gathering Vendor Score Card Data.
Enter all Receiving into ERP (CostPoint).
Obtain receiving approvals where applicable.
Maintain/document receiving approvals.
Maintain document repository.
Scanning previous documents.
Process all P-Card Transactions.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skill: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Supervision: Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
