Position Overview:
Insulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable people living with diabetes to enjoy simplicity, freedom, and healthier lives using the tubeless Omnipod® product platform. In the last two decades, we have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people living with diabetes by using innovative technology that is wearable, waterproof, and lifestyle-accommodating. Insulet recently launched the Omnipod® 5 System, a tubeless automated insulin delivery system featuring integration with multiple glucose Sensors and the option to control the System using an App on the user's mobile phone.
We are looking for a creative, user-focused motion/production designer to develop dynamic digital learning experiences. We're re-imagining how our customers learn to use our products through innovation in our product training methods, learning materials, user guides, and embedded mobile learning.

Associate Motion/Production Designer Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and develop visual content, including graphics, motion, animation, and video for online instructional use
• Work closely with the Instructional Design and broader UX team, including writers, designers, and researchers, on storytelling to define and create safe, effective, and delightful learning experiences
• Work in a fast-paced agile environment with cross-functional teams, generating motion graphics and video learning that tells a story and engages our audience
• Work with User Research and Human Factors team to iteratively test early concepts and apply user-centered design best practices to our work. Proactively engage with research to drive testing of your concepts.
• Present design concepts and user experience vision in a compelling and positive manner (storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, or interactive presentations) to all levels of the company-from tactical agile software teams to executive leadership and to our customers.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Human Factors to ensure our designs are safe and effective and meet regulatory agency guidelines for a medical device experience but hold a high bar on how we can delight the user as well.
• Contribute to corporate UX/ID design language development, standards, and frameworks as our brand evolves.
• Contribute to tactical and innovation instructional design initiatives within an agile environment on digital learning experiences for the UX Instructional Design (ID) team.
• Be mentored by Sr staff in all aspects of UX/ID work to grow and develop as a motion/production designer.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or Master's (Interaction Design, Motion Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Industrial Engineering, , Human Factors or equivalent) required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in UX, web, and mobile design, ideally with a focus on developing and implementing customer-centric products, with video, motion and animation design
• Strong portfolio required with strong storytelling and presentation skills
• Proficiency in video publishing tools in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (After Effects, Animate) and Camtasia
• Experience incorporating elements from audio tools like Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar
• Intellectual curiosity, including the willingness to dig in and learn more about things
• Ability to prototype when necessary preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Ongoing US travel as needed (at least once per quarter)

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,600.00 - $98,600.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
