Production Welder (Finance)
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Position, align, and secure parts and assemblies
• Use a wide variety of power hand tools and grinders
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Production Welder Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive body and general mechanical experience.
• Efficient and able to multitask
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with other staff
• Ability to work with composites (carbon fiber) a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail.
Production Welder Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, such as standing for an extended amount of time
• Must be able to move about the production floor, ascending/descending ladders, or other equipment
• Constantly moving, stopping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and crawling
• Must be able to observe and inspect materials and equipment
• Frequently moves materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs
• Occasionally works in cold or hot temperatures
