What you will do
The Manufacturing Associate I strictly adheres to GMP procedures, maintains a safe and compliant workplace, and completes all tasks accurately and timely. Key Responsibilities
• Ensure Quality and Compliance: Adhere to GMP training, maintain strict procedural compliance, demonstrate integrity in tasks, collaborate for business compliance, promptly address deviations, and commit to quality work.
• Material Handling, Staging, Order, Return, and Receipt: Perform manual and mechanical tasks in manufacturing and packaging, complete accurate documentation, manage material handling and inventory, and maintain cleanliness and order in the workplace.
• Dispensing, Compounding, Mixing, and Packaging: Communicate deviations impacting product quality, handle raw materials following instructions, coordinate with engineering for equipment validation, support production line activities, and complete additional tasks as needed.
• Equipment Cleaning: Operate and maintain automated washers, manually clean equipment and facilities, and document cleaning processes.
• Housekeeping: Execute general housekeeping to comply with cGMP and EHS standards and document cleaning procedures
• IPC Testing and Samples: Perform material and in-process controls, assess product quality in case of deviations, support investigation of non-conformances, and document testing and sampling.
• Computerized Systems Knowledge: Be trained in relevant systems for the assigned role, use MS Office and other systems for business efficiency, and have working knowledge of ERP and MES systems.
• Product Knowledge: Understand product family, characteristics, and processing steps.
• Training: Collaborate with the training department, take part in training programs, and complete all training on time.
• Investigations: help gather information and take part in investigations.
• Compliance - Safety, GMP, Facilities: Perform operations safely and compliantly, respond to emergencies, promote safety culture, contribute to EHS programs, maintain facility conditions, and ensure overall business compliance.
• Documentation Management: Escalate documentation errors, help document manufacturing processes, and adhere to GMP documentation requirements.
• Leadership: Support management in change, represent manufacturing in meetings, exemplify core values and leadership behaviors, foster a diverse and inclusive environment, communicate effectively, and align with the site's mission
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma/secondary education or equivalent and/or associate degree or bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or 4 years of active military duty.
• Physical Demands: Candidates must be able to meet the physical demand of that this position requires: continuous lifting and/or moving from 5 to 25lbs. weight material, and frequent lifting or moving average (25-50 lbs.) weight material.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a proven ability to interact with other operators, management, and groups inside and outside of Manufacturing. Candidates must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desired Qualifications
• Pharmaceutical/GMP experience preferred.
