Analyst, Clinical Services (Finance)
The Clinical Analyst will contribute to the overall performance and results of the clinical services team through analyzing data and results, identifying issues and trends, providing recommendations, and driving focused improvement initiatives as an individual contributor and/or project manager. The Clinical Analyst will work directly with the clinical leadership team and employees, internal USRC partners, and external payers and vendors to achieve desired outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
GROWTH
• Oversees the development of clinical workflow processes by designing reports needed to track and trend clinical outcomes.
• Ensure proper and effective use of company resources to achieve Company goals.
• Work with Clinical Services Department toward the development of monthly, quarterly and annual clinical outcome improvement plans that meet strategic company initiatives by proposing organizational changes to processes, technology, system conversion or new tools.
OUTCOMES
• Actively develops tools and initiatives that track company clinical outcomes to achieve desirable company trends.
• Actively monitors going changes to QIP, DFR, 5-Star and NHSN (CMS mandated sites) regarding calculation updates to ensure Company goals meet at minimum industry standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor clinical quality reports for the clinical team by meeting regulatory standards in accordance with Company goals.
• Oversee the clinical data tools that will identify trends by clinic, region, and physician etc. to meet Company goals.
• Oversee how clinical quality goals and measures are established.
• Remain current with dialysis industry and technology.
OPERATIONAL
READINESS
• Actively monitors complex key performance indicators and identifies calculation issues with resolution though root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of and remain current with federal, state, local laws and regulations.
• Identify problems, issues or trends in the clinical program from a corporate perspective developing tools, initiatives or polices to address and correct.
• Provide executive summaries for improved key performance indicators by identifying areas to improve, impact of change, correction plan and prevention.
• Organize and lead clinical team in preparation of meeting with IT by tracking outstanding enhancements and prioritizing projects.
• Audit clinical outcomes to ensure accuracy and credibility with calculations for all quality scoring.
• Coordinate calculation descriptions, create a dictionary and dissemination of new and revised calculation descriptions to clinical team.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.

• Responsible for positively impacting clinical outcomes by working collaboratively with the CMO, Clinical Services and regional Operations management teams.
• Regularly communicate with VP of Clinical Services and clinical team regarding the status of all IT clinical projects.
• Maintain collaborative working relationship with Clinical, Technical, IT, Billing Department and regional Operations management.
• Develop process and training tools in partnership with Clinical, Technical, IT Billing Department and regional Operations to focus on improving initiatives.
• Maintain a positive/collaborative relationship with other dialysis organizations, state agencies and the community.
• Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Respond effectively to inquiries or concerns.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT/ RETENTION
• Identify specific training needs of the clinical organization and develop programs to meet the identified needs. Assists clinical team with the rollout of new and ongoing key performance measures.
• Responsible for training clinical team and trainers.
• Approve and submit time worked in Exponent.
• Uphold management goals of corporation by leading clinical project group and clinical services in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
• Effectively communicates expectations and accepts accountability.
