Digital Install Base and Supply Chain Product Owner (Finance)
Job Description: Enable digital install base tracking covering 118 offers generating 580M€ of revenue for the group (FY21). Interact with Global Data teams in relation to customer, user, product and device information to help efforts to monetize digital asset information. Design and prioritize the enhancements and features needed to successfully extend the back-end Application Program Interface (API) services and capabilities of Schneider Electrics primary, cloud-based, subscription and billing software system. Lead the Product Owner for Global Software entitlement to ensure he successfully designs and prioritizes the enhancements and features needed to successfully extend the cloud-based software licensing system from its current state to be able to support the future licensing and monetization ambitions of Schneider Electric software products. Lead a geographically and culturally diverse, agile, development team in the role of product owner to deliver functionality in alignment with the product roadmap forecast. Working within an agile development structure be responsible for writing user stories and related acceptance criteria in a timely and accurate fashion. Responsible for validating implementation of features in the product. Create process documentation. Communicate and explain the product road map to business stakeholders. Manage conflicting requirement requests and timelines by correct prioritization. Contribute to Schneider Electrics strategy on transforming its business to be able to take advantage of the growth of digital technology. Position eligible for remote work up to 4 days per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, or related field. Employer will accept a combination of experience and education evaluated to be equivalent to a US Bachelor's degree. Position also requires 5 years of experience in information technology management, product ownership, software development leadership, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Utilizing Salesforce, Zuora and Flexera technology platforms; Utilizing Scrum and Agile methodologies to ensure effective consistent delivery of e-commerce product functionality; Communicating with senior management on information technology product and project initiatives and deliverables; Running global information technology infrastructure and cross geography teams; Developing and maintaining a digital supply chain covering the creation, delivery and install base capture of digital products; Prioritizing a digital product backlog and converting it to actionable development items; Leading a development project integrating a licensing creation system into a complex existing Fortune 500 global IT architecture; and Utilizing e-commerce and license activation to generate install base information capture and successful lead generation.
