IRA Specialist / Savings Processor Position - Deposit Operations

The IRA/Savings Department currently has a position available for a Retirement Specialist and Savings Processor.  This position is responsible for performing daily back-office deposit operation functions and for supporting our customer care service and retail branch associates with IRA and Savings transactions and issues while relaying information to our external customers in a professional and accurate manner.

Job Functions:

  • This position supports customer care service and retail branch inquiries regarding retirement accounts, retirement plans, savings accounts and certificates of deposit.
  • This position is responsible for maintaining retirement plans, monitoring and tracking documents for new and existing IRAs, processing daily mail, collecting data for management reporting, and monitoring daily transaction reports for accuracy, and making corrections when needed.
  • The associate will also participate in seasonal projects such as systems testing, required minimum distributions, federal and back-up withholding, account dormancy and year-end IRS reporting, including corrections.
  • This position also supports universal tasks within deposit operations.
