Quality Control Analyst (Biotech)

Be part of Lonza's outstanding team as a Quality Control Analyst in Vacaville, CA, USA. Your role is crucial in supporting production of in-process, drug substances, and raw materials with high-quality results.
Preparing reagents to support testing for in-process, lot release, and stability studies.
Managing and improving laboratory inventory processes to enable all laboratory operations.
Reviewing GMP documentation.
Writing quality records (Deviations, CAPA, Change Control) and test methods.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Applying Microsoft Suites (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Using Laboratory computer systems.
Working on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Applying Data Integrity principles in all aspects of work, in compliance with Lonza DI policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Relevant QC work experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Laboratory computer systems.
Familiarity with GMP Quality Systems such as TrackWise and LIMS.
Ability to perform assigned, complex, and varied tasks with mentorship from a supervisor.
Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.

As required by law in this state, the quoted salary range for this position is $65,000-$105,000. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation on performance based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at the company between the lower and the middle part of the applicable range. We tailor our offers within the range based on job-related factors, including organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic area and the selected candidate's experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and/or communication skills and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. This range is only inclusive of base salary, and base pay is just one component of Lonza's total compensation package for employees.
