Patient Accounting Representative - First Shift (Finance)

The Patient Accounting Representative will be responsible for monitoring and managing outstanding medical claims submitted to insurance companies. Key responsibilities include investigating claim denials, resubmitting corrected claims, and appealing denied claims as needed. You will work proactively to ensure the timely reimbursement of claims by communicating with insurance companies and resolving any billing issues that may arise.

This Position will be a remote position working from home but may require training in the office Monday- Friday for the first 90 daysMinimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.Assists the Manager in all daily activities associated with the collection function. Responsible for collection of past due accounts from Insurance Companies. Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, payer portals.
