Grants & Contracts Specialist - School of Public Health (Finance)
We are looking for a Full-Time Grants and Contracts Specialist to join the UTHealth School of Public Health in Houston, TX. This position will support the Center for Health Promotion and Prevention Research. In this position, you will be involved in a variety of pre and post-award grant administration tasks, including developing budgets, preparing grant applications, preparing JIT documents, carryover calculations, effort monitoring, salary cap worksheets, annual report preparations, and monthly reconciliations.

Assists in planning, coordinating and monitor the research activities of the unit. Develops and administers procedures designed to comply with appropriate regulations relating to the administration of government and private research grants and contracts and for the interpretation and application of such procedures and regulations.

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
