The Metrics Lead for the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Management organization and will be an individual contributor who will work closely with peers, stakeholders, and their manager to run and enhance the NFR metrics and reporting program. They will help define how Northern Trust best identifies and addresses risk for our most important processes and areas. Responsibilities will include:
Designs, gathers, and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Key Risk Indicators (KRI) metrics for NFR areas, including Cyber, Technology, Operational Execution, and Resiliency Detects and advises management of potential risk and may recommend changes and/or enhancements to improve efficiencies in procedures Works closely with the team to produce and distribute NFR dashboards Drive change, in coordination with key stakeholders, to enhance metrics and reporting to include more real time availability of data and the ability to parse data through different lenses (e.g. business units) Researches and develops solutions for issues being addressed by the organization Coordinates and/or performs activities of designated risk initiatives Responds to internal and external inquiries and requests for information Reviews documentation and procedures to ensure compliance Attends seminars to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new issues and regulatory developments Participate in ad-hoc projects or special initiatives assigned
Skills/Experience
Salary Range:
$83,100 - 141,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
