About the Role
Are you ready to make a significant impact on our people and culture agenda? As the HR Director for Health and Medical (“HM”), you'll be at the heart of driving our HR strategy across the USA region. You'll partner with leaders and senior executives to support our overall business strategy and people agenda. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders in the Business Unit and Essity HR Group functions and you will be a key player in execution of HM People Strategies and initiatives as well as implementing and driving local and global HR processes and initiatives.
The role reports directly to the HR Operations Director for North America and has a strong dotted line to the VP of Human Resources for HM to deliver the strategic and tactical HR agenda for the business unit. The incumbent is expected to participate routinely as part of the global business unit HM HR team. Additionally, the role is a part of the US Health and Medical Regional Leadership Team.

The role is based in our office in Charlotte, North Carolina, supporting the US Sales & Marketing region, Health and Medical. Periodic travel will be required.
Your Scope and Responsibility
Lead and drive Change Management activities across US region.
Provides coaching and support for the HM VP Sales & Marketing US and Leadership team on human capital and the strategic agenda for continued development of the organization.
Lead the implementation of Essity and HM global People and Culture agenda.
Play the role as Strategic HR Business Partner and collaborate daily with the Leadership team, local and global HR teams, and other key Stakeholders in HM and Essity
Coach and support senior leaders in HM in both tactical and strategic matters and initiatives
Develop, lead and support both Essity and HM specific HR Project and Development Programs including Leadership- and Talent Development, Change Management, Organizational and Culture Development, Capability Development and Employee Experience
Partner with global HR process owners and COE to support process delivery for Workforce Planning, Talent Management & Leadership, Engagement Surveys, Performance & Development, Compensation & Benefits and HR Metrics and analytics.
Engage with, partner and coach local Country HR teams to support PH and business unit initiatives.
To be able to deliver successfully, we believe you need following experience and competences
10+ years HR experience with preference for experience in US commercial support. Manufacturing or Distribution Center experience as well is ideal.
Bachelor's degree with a preference for major in Human resources. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) a plus.
Experience with Talent Management, Leadership and Capability Development, Culture Management, Organizational Design and Development
Proven success in driving HR Management, global HR initiatives and change in global matrix organization with high level of complexity. Knowledge of core local Human Resources practices and working knowledge of employment laws
Ability to quickly understand business drivers, connect HR programs and data to create business value, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Trusted leader with good communication- and stakeholder management skills with experience in developing relationships with senior leadership and influencing and challenging decision-makers at all levels
Proficiency in MS-Office, Workday, Kronos time keeping management system (preferred)
Travel requires 10-15%
