Occupational Therapist (Healthcare)

Job Title: PRN Occupational Therapist
Location: Western Slope Health Care Center
Hourly Rate: $70.00 - $80.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

Job Description:
Western Slope Health Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position is perfect for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing and providing therapy to patients with physical, mental, or developmental impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to help them regain or improve their functional skills.
• Provide therapy for patients with a wide range of conditions, including physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, and developmental disorders.
• Develop strategies to assist patients in performing daily activities more effectively and independently.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and strategies for improving function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and outcomes.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet the changing needs of patients.
• Friday's will most likely be scheduled***

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not required.
• Flexible, reliable, and dedicated to patient care.
