R&D Lead Technician - 2nd Shift (Finance)
The Lead R&D Technician will support the BAC R&D Laboratory located in Jessup, Maryland, providing leadership in a team environment to support the 2nd shift operation and maintenance of all aspects of the R&D Lab including the test facility, equipment, tools and instrumentation. The role is responsible for safely assembling, modifying and testing evaporative heat transfer equipment and components. The Lead R&D Technician expertly performs and provides guidance to the 2nd shift staff on all aspects of the evaporative thermal test process, having expertise in all essential mechanical, and electrical skills necessary for successful completion of Global Engineering test projects. This role will also develop and administer technical and safety training programs for the R&D Lab.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk up to 80% of the time. Frequent use of hands to perform mechanical tasks including turning, torquing, lifting, pushing, pulling is required. Working conditions include inside a lab area and occasionally outside exposed to weather. Ability to work on ladders and lifts is required. This position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs to shoulder height. Weekend and shift work may be necessary depending upon workload. #ZR
BAC Hiring Compensation Range $29.76 - $44.64 per hour.

BAC Employees are eligible to participate in an annual bonus incentive program. BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law. BAC provides shift differential pay for eligible employees, under program rules.
