What you will do
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in Fixed Income Asset Management to join our growing team. This individual will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders (portfolio managers, analysts, quants) and the technology team, ensuring that requirements are understood and met to support business objectives.
What you can expect
Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
Support the implementation of fixed income front office systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
Work with project manager and cross-functional teams to manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within scope.
What you will bring
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a business analyst role within the financial services industry, with a focus on fixed income asset management.
Skills:
Strong understanding of fixed income products, including bonds, derivatives, and other related instruments.
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Education: A degree in computer science, math, finance, economics, or related field. CFA, FRM, or related certifications a plus.
What will set you apart?
Experience with portfolio management systems (e.g., Aladdin or similar platforms).
Familiarity with data management tools and reporting systems in an asset management context.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting fixed income asset management.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $155,000 to $185,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
