The JMPS Specialist will support the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) in the development, documentation, training, operation, and troubleshooting of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for the F/A-18 program. This role requires providing direct assistance to KAF F/A-18 Pilots and performing various system administration duties as directed. The JMPS Specialist reports directly to the Deputy Site Manager. Key Responsibilities:
Training & Assistance:
Provide KAF F/A-18 Pilots with training and assistance in the use and operation of the JMPS program.
Technical Support:
Offer technical advice and guidance regarding JMPS to the KAF.
System Administration:
Perform system administration duties for all KAF JMPS Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) as directed.
Software Management:
Install, maintain, and configure JMPS software on KAF computers.
User Account Management:
Provide and maintain KAF F/A-18 Pilot JMPS Usernames and Passwords.
Instruction & Training:
Prepare and conduct formal classroom instruction and on-the-job training as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of four years' experience with the JMPS Program.
Minimum of four years of mission planning experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with personal computer applications and computer hardware configuration and operation.
Experienced in JMPS report generation and analysis.
Training Skills:
Ability to conduct formal training on JMPS computer software.
Communication Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
