Inclusion Technician PT - Beverly YMCA (Education)
Are you passionate about helping children thrive and ensuring all kids have the support they need to succeed? Join our team as an Inclusion Technician, where you'll play a vital role in helping school-age children reach their full potential through individualized behavior and inclusion support.
As an Inclusion Technician, you will work closely with our School-Age Program to implement behavior and inclusion plans tailored to the unique needs of each child. On a typical day, you'll directly support youth programming by monitoring behavior, documenting observations, and collaborating with team members to create a positive and inclusive environment. You'll also help implement social-emotional learning strategies, model expectations, teach social/emotional skills, and support the program with necessary modifications and accommodations.
What You Bring to This Role:
- Experience working with diverse abilities and implementing behavior plans in educational or recreational settings.
- A strong understanding of social-emotional learning approaches and the ability to guide best practices with flexibility and creativity.
- The skills to identify causes of behavior and thoughtfully respond to unexpected situations with sound judgment.

- The School Age position hours are 2pm to 6pm.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must provide and maintain all documents and certifications as required by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care
- Must complete all training/certifications and program orientation under the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the YMCA of the North Shore
