Warehouse Assistant (Information Technology)

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for the administrative and clerical aspects of warehouse operations. Assists the warehouse office by answering incoming calls as needed and performing other clerical duties as needed.

Adjust inventory in Justfoods as needed.
Identify and follow-up on discrepancies, including communicating with the customer prior to when the shipment leaves the warehouse.
Create and receive transfers both internally and externally.
Greet and check in drivers for incoming materials and outgoing finished products.
Verify all sales orders that are filed to make sure they are ready to schedule for pickup and/or production.
Assist in setting up shipments for donation, expired product and retain samples.
Responsible for managing and processing pick lists for sales orders.
Verify inventory is available for sales orders to ship out.
Lot track all sales orders prior to shipping.
Process BOL for sales orders.
Assist with coordination of various repack projects as needed including generating inventory tags.
Serve as primary back up to Warehouse Supervisor position.
Perform other duties as needed or requested by management.
Verifying staged orders have correct product and tags pulled for shipment.
Systematically research any inventory discrepancies holding up lot tracking a staged order.
Reporting all CHEP movement daily on their website based on certain loads shipping.
Verify weekly CHEP invoice for accounting.
Record order information on the True Commerce site and print ASN stickers. Place ASN stickers on the finished good product.
Scan and file paperwork from the current day.
Communicate with Sales regarding any order discrepancies; lack of product or incorrect quantities entered on sales order.
