Human Resources Administrator (Administrative)
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to support essential HR functions, including recruitment, payroll assistance, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing general HR support to distribution center teams. This role will also address employee relations, benefits inquiries, and compliance matters. The Human Resources Administrator serves as a trusted partner to employees, delivering exceptional service, responsiveness, and a commitment to implementing HR best practices. Reporting to the HR Business Partner Manager, this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Oversee candidate sourcing, screening, and hiring processes to meet organizational needs.
Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Policy Administration: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
HRIS Management: Input, update, and maintain accurate HRIS data while generating reports as needed.
Documentation and Recordkeeping: Organize and manage HR files and employee documentation to maintain up-to-date records.
Administrative Support: Provide assistance for HR projects, initiatives, and daily operations.
Employment Administration: Facilitate the onboarding process and manage employment-related tasks.
Employee Relations: Act as a resource for employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and compliance matters.
Work Experience
Minimum of three years of experience in a human resources-related field or business environment.
At least two years of hands-on experience with modern recruitment practices, including working with popular job posting and professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice).
Education & Training
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Preferred: Some college coursework in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Additional training or certification in recruitment, talent acquisition, or other HR specialties is highly desirable.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that meet the role's requirements are acceptable.
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and experience with ATS/HRIS systems.
Demonstrated expertise in recruitment processes, ATS management, and HRIS systems preferred.
Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards is a plus.
Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver messages respectfully, tactfully, and diplomatically.
Association with HR organizations such as SHRM or PHIRA is a plus.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is desirable.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, sit, move, and use fingers for extended periods.
May involve walking on level surfaces, reaching above shoulder height and below the waist, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Typical office environment with controlled, moderate temperatures.
Occasional travel and flexible hours may be required to accommodate HR activities and meet customer needs.
