The Marketing Strategist reports into the Client Marketing team focusing on Group Insurance. The candidate understands modern marketing best practices to drive customer engagement and experience outcomes across Group Insurance benefits (Voluntary benefits – Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Life Insurance, Absence & Disability, Medical Stop Loss) and Wellbeing solutions. The candidate will be in a flex role supporting efforts across Employer, Broker, and Employee engagement efforts, responsible for collaborating across internal teams including Distribution, Product, Creative, Research & Insights, Technology, Operations, and Control functions to support business opportunities.
The employee work arrangement for this position is open to both hybrid and virtual candidates and is dependent on where the candidates live. For virtual candidates, while this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office. For hybrid candidates, the position requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Support audience-centric multi-channel campaigns in partnership with Marketing Strategy Managers.
Help maintain ongoing updates of existing marketing materials, communications, and creative templates in the Marketing automation technology platform.
Manage marketing collateral library across customer segments.
Conduct end-to-end setup and ongoing maintenance of marketing benefit education microsites.
Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of marketing deliverables and aligned projects.
Continually looks for ways to improve Marketing processes and procedures to increase efficiencies.
Supports coordinating client-facing enrollment requests during peak season, as needed.
Coordinate marketing activities to support events, assisting with different campaigns, content needs, conducting research, and data collection to feed into performance analysis.
Help outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as marketing sales events.
Serve as a conduit across Client Marketing functions, Employer & Broker Strategy and Employee Strategy creating cohesion in the go-to-market deliverables.
Actively participate in brainstorm ideas for marketing strategies and events, to increase effectiveness across audience segments.
Coordinate the curation and analysis of marketing engagement landscape, target demographics, and presentation story-telling research and insights to enable actionable next steps and inform marketing strategies, collaborating across Marketing Strategy and Research & Insights partners.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Proven track record with creating marketing plans and solutions delivering outcomes.
Have a clear understanding of the B2B2C marketing life cycle.
Functional knowledge of workflow and/or project management tools such as Workfront
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Inquisitive mindset with the passion to improve processes and evolve status quo to find new solutions.
Detail-oriented, creative thinker adept at problem solving with an ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Adaptability to stay updated with emerging marketing trends.
Team-player attitude with demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, transparency, and perform in a variety of roles.
It'd be a plus if you had:
2+ years marketing communications experience. Group Insurance experience is a plus.
Digital marketing, customer engagement, customer service and/or sales support experience preferred.
Marketing material and/or presentation execution experience is a plus.
