The Supply Appraisal Geoscientist is responsible for supporting the efforts of the fundamentals and commercial teams to grow and optimize the unique nationwide value chain of Enterprise Products. These responsibilities encompass evaluating and forecasting existing and future oil and gas reserves to support Enterprise Products investments in gathering, processing, treating, transportation, storage, marketing and exports of natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas liquids. This is a highly visible role in a team that plays an integral part in key decisions at Enterprise Products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with production forecasts of oil, gas and natural gas liquids for specific producers, assets or acreage, while working closely with commercial groups.
Support capital projects (gathering, treating, pipelines, processing plants, fractionators).
Present comprehensive reviews of basin trends to team & upper management, as needed.
Provide support to Investor Relations and Senior Management for presentations to customers and public forums.
Monitor and report on important developments in the upstream industry to Enterprise decision- makers.
Develop and maintain internal data platforms for company-wide use.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in STEM based discipline (Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics) with 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of key U.S. producing regions while understanding the drivers of both the upstream and midstream functions.
Familiarity with oil and gas forecasting to support Business Development/Scouting, Strategic Assessment, and M & A analytics is required.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Experience with ArcGIS, SQL, Spotfire and Power BI is preferred.
Ability to interpret, organize, chart, graph and present large amounts of data into useful management information.
