Join our team as a Mobile Crisis Aide, where youll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and clinical care to community members in need. Under the guidance of the Supervisor of Crisis Services, youll support individuals in crisis, helping them achieve resolution, community inclusion, and independence while promoting recovery and resilience. Key Responsibilities: Crisis Intervention: Assist in trauma-sensitive and recovery-focused crisis interventions, both onsite and in the community.Observation & Reporting: Monitor consumer behaviors and environments, identifying changes in physical/mental health and communicating observations to clinical staff.Community Support: Help individuals access and navigate community resources and entitlements, collaborating with Network Benefits Specialist staff as necessary.Inpatient Placement Support: Work with crisis teams, providers, and natural supports to secure appropriate inpatient placements.Follow-Up: Conduct satisfaction and follow-up surveys to ensure quality service.Transportation Assistance: Provide crisis transport services as needed.Skill Building: Support skill and support group activities as well as the Engagement Team program.Administrative Support: Perform essential administrative tasks, including documentation, filing, and correspondence to support team functions.Crisis Residential Support: Assist the Crisis Residential Unit as required.Safety & Intervention: Safely implement therapeutic de-escalation skills and crisis intervention models as needed. Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with Michigans Community Mental Health (CMH) system.Understanding of mental health regulations, standards, and resources such as the DSM, Medicaid Provider Manual, and more.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR software.Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
