Job Description:
Bose Corporation is a leading innovator in the field of automotive entertainment systems and noise control and is successfully extending their market leadership into these areas. Bose seeks New Product Quality engineering staff to join and guide this dynamic, fast growing automotive business.
The New Product Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality is designed into Automotive products during the development process. As a key member of project teams, the New Product Quality Engineer will ensure requirements compliance and traceability and will lead and facilitate risk management activities working closely with Engineering Project Managers. In addition, the New Product Quality Engineer will rely heavily on their background in Lean principles to facilitate structured problem-solving methodologies, Fault Tree Analysis, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Design and Process Validation readiness reviews. As the champion for many of these tools and processes, the New Product Quality Engineer is expected to facilitate training and coaching of team members in the application of various tools and methodologies. The New Product Quality Engineer is also responsible for facilitating structured problem solving for design related issues that occur in production. The role will create the initial Advanced Product Quality Planning documentation and work with Customer Quality Engineers to ensure smooth transitions of components into production
