Responsibilities of the Scheduler position include but are not limited to:
Exposure to various assets and operations to build a rounded understanding of natural gas gathering, processing and scheduling functions.
Will make/receive natural gas nominations and scheduling assigned systems. Perform confirmations with upstream and downstream parties.
Manage daily production vs. scheduled volumes. Tracks associated imbalances and adjusts accordingly.
Develop and provide daily flow orders to guide gas control and field operations.
Work with producers, operations, gas control and downstream pipelines to mitigate various daily operating issues.
Assists in end of month actualization for accounting close.
Position calls for rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule.
Must be willing to travel 5% of the time as required.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or commensurate work experience is required.
A minimum of 1-3 years of professional business or related experience is preferred.
The ability to analyze data for variances and anomalies is required.
Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization.
Able to demonstrate effective leadership skills; have strong problem solving skills.
Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes takes.
Must be detail oriented.
The ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability and commitment to the job.
Work in a fast paced team environment, proactively utilize all learning and support resources.
Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
