Regional Property Manager - Affordable Housing
*This role will oversee multiple properties primarily throughout southern Indiana
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees and is responsible for efficient day-to-day property operations across assigned portfolio, including direct management of Property Managers.
Develops, monitors, and manages budgets, making strategic decisions to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and maximize property value.
Monitors and manages the monthly review of financial reporting and budget variance analysis.
Ensures risk management and safety practices are implemented and followed.
Performs regular site visits to ensure that all office and maintenance procedures are being adhered to, including audits of lead and office files, revenue collection procedures, government regulations, make-ready standards and preventative maintenance programs.
Ensures timely and accurate preparation of various weekly, daily, and monthly reports.
Leads continuous training, coaching, and development of Property Managers.
Maintains a thorough understanding of the portfolios's competitive environment/market.
Maintains a thorough understanding of industry regulations and codes, ensuring properties adhere to legal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Leadership/Organization Development, or 5+ years of multifamily leadership experience.
Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor is an advantage.
Property Management software knowledge (RealPage is preferred).
