Operations Specialist (Finance)

Operations Specialist Location: Fresno, CA What we offer you! - Competitive pay - Comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more) - 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) - Employee Discount Programs - Career growth opportunities - Pay range: $69,750 - $102,300 yearly (commensurate with experience) What you will be doing: - Supervise/work with one maintenance personnel - Manage/schedule maintenance work orders, repairs, upgrades, and multiple projects - Work with contractors to ensure work is completed properly and that company safety policies are followed. - Issue and review hazardous work permits. - Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance - Train employees on the use of equipment as necessary - Obtain quotes and submit requisitions for parts and external maintenance services. What makes you great: - Mechanical Engineering degree, or acceptable alternative, from an accredited institution - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Good social and presentation skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure - Able to work effectively with minimal supervision - Physical capability of standing for long hours each workday - Ability to lift over 40 lbs. - Requires familiarity with environmental, safety, and health procedures and issues. - Must have a basic understanding of electrical systems. - Must have a detailed understanding of equipment and overall plant manufacturing processes. - Must have understanding of mechanical and instrument equipment and their maintenance, mechanical integrity, and the inspection process. - Must have technical competencies of troubleshooting, general computer skills, work planning and estimating. - Must be able to manage multiple priorities, drive issues to completion, and obtain results. - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Willingness to travel throughout S. California approx. to support project tasks, supplier visits. commissioning, and construction - Willingness to periodically work on weekends to complete maintenance projects. - Successful candidate must be able to develop others and foster diverse relationships throughout the organization.
