Launch Manager (Security)
What you will do
This position functions as the critical business partner for the Plant Manager to ensure and deliver the successful launch of new products and processes in the assigned plant.
How you will do it
Coordinate identification of launch team and work with functional managers to identify the training needs and create training plans.
Collect and prepare launch start-up costs with Plant and Program Management. Ensure Operations agreement on Capital, Expenses, Tooling Equipment and other Plant related costs and investments for Program Budget
Oversite of all customer deliverables for launch and change management items
Coordinate with Program Management and Quality to ensure Advanced Quality Planning/PPAP, including customer signoff and Process signoff on the program.
What we look for
3-5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Glidepath / D3 working knowledge and proficiency
Engineering/Process experience
Program Management Experience incl. at least 1 product launch and/or significant plant expansion or Greenfield launch
Manufacturing Operations
Quality Management (PPAP/APQP)
Lean Manufacturing (CMS)
MS Project, MS Office, Outlook
What we do here
Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant manufactures batteries used in automotive and marine applications. This is our largest plant at Clarios. We opened our facility in 1981 and now employ more than 700 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission, and Ronald McDonald House.
