This is an amazing time to join the Mobility team, as we were recently awarded the Gateway Program Hudson Tunnel Project Delivery Partner Project!

As a Business, Finance, and Accounting Intern within the Mobility team, you will play a key role in supporting the financial and operational aspects of the Gateway Program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, develop technical financial skills, and gain insights into project management and consulting within the transportation sector.

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines. You will contribute to the overall success of the Gateway Project by providing accurate and actionable insights that support decision-making and project delivery.

Role accountabilities:

As a Summer Intern you will:

• Assist in tracking project budgets, preparing financial reports, reconciling expenses, and maintaining compliance with financial controls.
• Support the development of financial models and conduct variance analysis to ensure accurate forecasting and cost management.
• Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and project data to provide actionable insights for cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist with vendor invoices, contracts, audits, and compliance requirements to support project operations.
• Prepare presentations and visualizations for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of financial performance.
• Attend meetings, seek mentorship, and develop skills in financial analysis, project management, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:Tun

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Candidates interested in transportation, infrastructure, or the construction sectors are encouraged to apply.

Experience (Preferred, Not Required)

• Previous internship experience in finance, accounting, or related fields is a plus.
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with financial modeling is a plus).

The salary range for this position is $21.30- $37.50 / hour Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
