About this Position
As a Lead Software Engineer for T. Rowe Price's new Planning and Advice platform team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of the applications, services, and infrastructure that comprises our SaaS platform. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of front-end and back-end engineers to build, test/debug, and implement a suite of high-quality, successful financial planning and investment advice solutions delivered to T. Rowe Price's clients thru our intermediary and direct business channels.
This role will specifically focus on leading the development of innovative and differentiating financial planning capabilities for T. Rowe Price's new Planning and Advice platform to serve T. Rowe Price's clients and internal teams. Capabilities will include client profiling, goal planning, retirement income planning, cash flow analysis, tax planning, investment planning, and integration with 3rd party systems. This is an exciting opportunity to create a state-of-the-art platform and transform T Rowe Price into a technology leader in the wealth management industry.

Base Salary Ranges

$142,000.00 - $242,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workersPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
